Permanent Makeup

Permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing, is a procedure that involves the application of pigments to the skin to create the appearance of makeup. The process is similar to getting a tattoo, but the pigments used for permanent makeup are specifically formulated for use on the face. The most common areas for permanent makeup include the eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips.

Permanent makeup is a popular choice for people who want to save time on their daily makeup routine, as well as for those who have difficulty applying makeup due to age, illness, or physical disabilities. The results of permanent makeup can last for 2-3 years, but touch-up appointments may be necessary to maintain the desired look. It is important to choose a qualified and experienced permanent makeup artist to ensure that the procedure is performed safely and effectively, and thats what we at The Symmetry Bar are here for.

OMBRE BROWS

Ombré Brows resembles the look of expertly applied soft eyebrow makeup. The Ombré technique is very gentle on the skin and therefore suitable for any skin type and age. This technique involves creating a pixelated effect (little dots that appear like a soft spray) to create delicate edges around the brows with very defined contour. The brows will heal soft and powdery, unlike traditional cosmetic pencils.

Lasts 1-3 years.

LIP BLUSH

Lip Blush Tattoo is a Semi-Permanent makeup treatment that gives your lips a boost of color. It provides a flush of color as well as helping defining the contour of your natural lips. This will help provide a subtle color boost and create definition, correct asymmetry, and even camouflage scars. The final result will resemble a subtle, matte, natural-toned stained look.

Lasts 3-5 years.

NANO COMBO BROWS

By blending the Nano Stroke (hair-stroke) technique with a soft Ombré Brow (shading) technique, the artist is able to create a 3 dimensional result that is miraculously realistic and breathtakingly gorgeous. As a combination final appearance is a natural, fuller, and more defined look. This technique is accomplished by creating the hair strokes first, and then adding soft shading that will cover the skin between the hair strokes.

Lasts 1-3 years.

How do Touch Ups work?

When working with Permanent Makeup, we are dealing with Human Skin. We as Artists can be as prepared and as knowledgeable as we can be, but at the end of the day, the human body can will do what it wants. In most cases, you will most likely need a touch up appointment. It is done 4-10 weeks after your initial session.

This will even out any areas that didn’t take as well as others.

Other reasons to book a Touch Up would be if perhaps they did heal completely even but you want them darker. Our look is a natural finish, so if you do want them slightly darker we can always do that at a touch up appointment. Remember, we can always go darker, but we can never go lighter. So better safe than sorry.
